Meet the Founder — Jessica Machlovitz
Hi! I’m Jessica, the founder and head coach of Jamnastics Academy.
Gymnastics has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up as a competitive gymnast and eventually turned my love for the sport into a career that has now included more than 15 years of coaching experience.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to coach athletes of all ages and abilities — from preschoolers taking their very first gymnastics class to school-age recreational gymnasts and competitive athletes through Xcel Bronze–Sapphire. I also have experience in gymnastics program management, curriculum development, and creating adaptive programs for athletes with different abilities and support needs.
For me, gymnastics has never been only about learning skills.
It’s about helping a child become stronger, more confident, more independent, and proud of what their body can do.
That belief is what inspired me to create Jamnastics Academy.
I wanted to build a gymnastics program where every athlete has a place — whether they are trying gymnastics for the first time, building recreational skills, looking for a new challenge, or participating through our adaptive JAMP program.
My coaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive, safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where athletes are challenged while still being allowed to learn and progress at their own pace.
Every athlete is different. Every accomplishment looks different. And sometimes the smallest step forward is actually the biggest victory.
At Jamnastics Academy, my goal is for athletes to leave class feeling stronger, braver, more confident, and excited to come back.
Because gymnastics skills are amazing — but the confidence athletes build along the way can stay with them far beyond the gym.
💜 Let’s get jamming!
Movement that builds confidence.
